Question about Nokia 7610
My keypad central raw(including 4,5,6 keys) not working..aslo dial key not working.as my phone lock consist this numbers i m not able to even enter the desktop...
You will need to take the case off the phone and check behind the buttons where the pads touch the circuit board these sometimes get greasy or dusty causing it to not create a conection between button and the circuit board clean the circuit board with dry dust free cloth look for signs of grease or water damage if this is clean or after cleaning put phone back together and try buttons if they still dont work you could try replacing the keys that you press as sometimes after alot of use these fail to connect with the board properly causing buttons not to work if you replace these and still dont work then it could be a warped board this happens if you have sat on phone or had it in pocket and let on something causing pressure on the case and this will warp the board their is no cure for this the only thing to do is buy new phone as a new board will cost as much as the phone hopefully this is not the case it might just need your keypad replacing try my first two sollutions first if this dont change anything then i would take it to repair shop and see if they think it is a warped board hope this is some help to you
