I need to change the globe in the freezer of my LG - top freezer...but I can't get the casing off easily (for fear of breaking something) Is there a way to push/pull it off without breaking it?

Warm it up with a hair blow dryer. when it is nice and warm it will be pliable and you can then remove it

How to change the bulb in oven cant get cover off

Hi, W/D here.
If your cover is the screw-on type, it takes a little patience to get it off. Try tapping the cover lightly with a rubber/wooden/plastic hammer or similar object. (I have used a wooden meat tenderizer). You don't want to break it. When you tap it, begin unscrewing it as you tap. The globe will move slightly. The tendency when it does move is to try to completely remove the globe, but this will just cause it to jam again. When it gives just a little, rotate the globe back towards the closed position then back towards the opened position, each time working the globe between positions where the globe will jam. What is usually the case is that there is a bit of built up cooking material that gets in between the glass and metal threads, and over a period of time makes into a crusty substance. By working the globe without forcing it, the crust breaks down into a finer material and the globe will come off.
Best regards, --W/D--

Refrigerator runs all the time ,the freezer compartment on the outsie is cold.

Check the seals on the doors- a decent seal should be able to grip a piece of paper, if the paper just drops out or pulls out very easily you need to replace the seal. There are many excellent online guides on how to change a door seal, just make sure you get the right size.

I have an LG LHD45EL dehumidifier. The manual shows removing the front grille to clean the coil by placing a hand on each side and pulling toward you. Mine won't budge and I'm afraid to pry the plastic...

I have the exact problem with my LG LHD45EL as lubbock51's Aug 17, 2010 question. (see below) Isn't there anyone out there that's had this same problem and resolved it. I too am afraid to pry the grill for fear of breaking it...it made out of plastic so it won't take much to break the grill if I did.

The top freezer cools like a fridge, the bottom fridge is warm

The fluxating temps bottom to top and top to bottom freezing are a result of the "air damper and baffle assy" not functioning properly. I would attempt fo make my case with LG that this started while the unit was under full warranty and persists today.

Top thread keeps breaking on ESe2.

Many things can inter fear with the thread and cause it to break. A common problem is the thread getting wrapped around the top tension rollers on that machine. You can take off the "face cover" (side cover on the left) and look from the side and see if the 2 little rollers have thread wrapped around or underneath them. Start there.

It is more likely to be something getting caught in the fan. try pressing on the area at the back of the freezer behind the ice bucket and just below the auger motor housing . This is where the evap fan is and i have had cases of fan blades moving up the shaft a small amount but enough to just come into contact with the housing.
