They should allow you to trade your radio in for a used rebuilt unit if you call Delphi directly.

Hello,

check any exposed wire behind CCC, If all wires checked ok, you need to replace CCC. After you replaced CCC needs to be programmed. It cost you a lot of money. I hope this will help.
Good luck!

The refrigerator side is cool, but not cold. The freezer side is frozen, but melting. The ice in the ice maker melted, but created one big ice cycle that has not melted. The fan underneath is running,...

I just ran into this problem this year. Is it very warm underneath your fridge? If you remove the cover in the back, you may find that you compressor is so hot you can't touch it. You can first try blowing out your cooling fins in the back of your fridge. A fan is connected to it and it should be next to the compressor. For my case that did not work. I then replaced the fan for the cooling fins and now my fridge works fine.

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

My 1991 had the same problem...after many hours the hot red wire from the fused link on the firewall had voltage but it was lost at the 3 wire connecter behind the glove box (It must of got hot and melted and the connection was broken) the two green wires were also shorted out to each other...all I had to do was cut out the connector and reconnect the wires again and had my air back...hopes this helps...look for the 3 wire connector behind the glove box and disconnect battery and check for continuity.

The same thing happened to my radio in my 1993 Chevy S10, but I was shopping for a new radio anyways. When I got them all switched over I took a closer look at the old stereo, and it WAS the stereo that was bad. If you unplug everything from the back of the stereo, check for any coloring other than silver on all of the plug ins. Mine just kinda "fried" as I was listening to the radio. The jack to plug the antenna in and the spots for a few of the other cables were all blackish and if I played my radio for a few minutes, they were incredibly hot. Way too hot to touch. But I bought a new radio and everything seems to be fine now.

My Heater Blower motor stopped working on my 2007 Chevy Suburban

you will need to check 3 places for this. 1 check the plug going to the blower motor for being hot and melting.2 check the plug going to the blower motor resistor for being hot and melting. 3 check behind the heater control head itself for being hot or melting.chevrolets are bad about these three places not making good contact and melting the connectors.

Car radio gets hot

There is a lot of heat generated and not a lot of ventilation so the answer to your question is yes, they all get hot. Now the question is what is too hot? Certainly we don't want it so hot as to roast marshmallows on or to melt anything or even WITHOUT TOUCHING IT too hot to touch. If it truly gets that hot there may be some trouble with the speaker or power wiring that is making it work too hard.

I have a havy duty dryer Hotpoint and 1 of the 2 fuses is melting. The fuse are getting hot when the dryer is working. Need help Yvon. Tanks

You have a poor electrical connection, causing the fuse to heat up. Check to make sure electrical connections are all tight, especially the wires in your fuse disconnect box. Most fused disconnect boxes have a hex screw behind the fuse that the back of the fuse touches. Make sure that is tight also. The poor connection could be in other areas also, such as the receptacle the dryer cord plugs into or the connections of the dryer cord to the dryer.
