Pool heater will not ignite

I have an HD100ID series Hayward Pool Heater, 100000 BTU. It just stopped working this weekend. The blower comes on and you here clicking but it will not ignite. I contacted the dealer who I purchased the heater from and they advised to replace the ignitor which I did but it did not work. It was working fine Saturday morning until I shut it off to backwash the filter and it now will not come back on. Any suggestions.

Hayward hd100id blower works water luke warm

It sounds like the thermostat is turning the heater off before it gets the water to temperature. It is probably the sensor, as that is the most common cause, but may be otherwise.

I have a Hayward HD100ID natural gas heater that I purchased last year. It's been working great up until yesterday. Today, when I plug it in and turn thermostat to max, nothing happens. I don't...

Since this heater was only purchased last year, if it is faulty they should cover it under warrantee. If you call Hayward technical support they should be able to help you figure out what the next step is. I hope this helps.

Error AO ON MY HAYWORD H SERIES POOL HEATER

The AO mindicates an open prover switch ,, here from Hawward site .
If the blower prover switch opens unexpectedly during operation the control will
shut down and attempt to re-light. If the switch does not close after the blower
starts the control will go into lockout with the blower running. Automatic reset is
immediate after error is corrected.

If the blower prover switch does not close after the blower starts the control will
stop the ignition trial go into lockout. The blower will continue to run. Automatic
reset is immediate after the switch closes.
