Press the menu button and then move one column to the right to Setup. Then I believe you scroll all they way down and there will be an option to reset everything to the default settings.

My canon powershot SD1300 IS says lens error and to restart the camera, however i'm unsure on how to restart the camera. Please help! :)

They just mean turn the camera off and back on. Usually when this happens it may need to be sent out to be repaired. If you just purchased it see if it is still within the return period.
If not, you can set up a repair order with the manufacturer here:

Any advice on how to remove a very small Phillips screw, with a stripped head, in a tight spot inside my Canon PowerShot A80 digital camera? ...I'll be very thankful for Your help!

There are tools called EASY OUT and they look crossed between a punch and a drill They insert into a drill piece or hand piece and are rotated anti clockwise. They bite into the screw head and allow it to be turned for removal. Some sets have a flexible shaft attachment to allow for those screws in awkward places. Looks like a screwdriver with a coiled metal flexii shaft ( dearer set, of course about $40)

Cost around $20 for a set and are invaluable for those difficult and worn headed screws. Never had a failure to remove yet

Canon Powershot A720 IS

It can be a damage sensor, a lens problem or a control board problem.

Ensure that it is not a setting problem, check that you did not set the light mode by mistake.

If it is less than one year old is covered with guaranty.

Contact Canon to validate the guaranty
