SOURCE: Unit leaks out of the bottom

Mine just developed the same problem. Me being an engineer, I decided to take it apart and found the problem. There is an aluminum tube shaped like a "C" with a heating element inside of it. Water flows through this metal tube, is heated, and then pushed via steam pressure. There is a metal brace that holds this "C" piece securely to the bottom of the machine. This brace is sharp and overtightened, which caused a small hole to form in the metal, causing the leak (in my machine of course). I am currently researching how to patch aluminum so I can hopefully fix it.

SOURCE: WATER LEAK

I have the same problem with my unit and Cuisinart Warranty is replacing my unit. Please see my post on this issue and perhaps calling them will net you a new machine or a fix to your problem. You will need the Serial number to your unit.

No guarantees by me of this, my machine is under warranty and I have no real information regarding yours.

The new Rational iCombi Classic Single 10-Full Size Combi Oven leaks from the underside. Does anyone know why? How can I solve the problem?

Question edited for clarity and add maker '(what it is)'.
Question moved from Refrigerators.

I recall that ours did this. At the front underside they is a small removable hopper that is the first part of the drain. Make sure it is correctly located and level.

Or, call the installer back. Rational telephone help is also very good.

My Ninja Pot is leaking from the water reservoir. What is the problem and how do I fix it please?

Edited to correct spelling for clarity.

It is a known issue and also common, so common the maker mentions it!

If your coffee maker is leaking water, then the most common cause is the water reservoir's overfilling. Ninja coffee maker comes with a marked line on the water reservoir that indicates the water level the reservoir should hold.

How do I stop water leak

If you're talking about the model shown in your picture, the leak is most likely between the water reservoir and the tank. Bunn uses a soft silicone seal for that connection that gets compressed over time and starts to leak water whenever you make a pot of coffee.

It's planned obsolescence. Bunn won't sell you a new seal. So you have to improvise. But it's simple enough to do.

Remove the top cover and the plastic water reservoir right below it. Don't tamper with the little valve that opens when you close the lid.

Look for the seal. It could be stuck to the bottom of the reservoir, or sitting loosely on top of the metal tank. Make sure to preserve its top-to-bottom orientation (don't put it back in upside down).

Apply a narrow bead of clear silicone into the grooved side of the seal. Press the seal gently onto the reservoir, then apply a thin layer to the smooth side.

Re-install the reservoir and reassemble the unit.

My Keurig Platinum B70 is leaking. When I put the water reservoir on to the coffee maker, water seeps out the bottom where the reservoir sits into...almost like the little valve in the reservoir stays...

My Keurig B60 had the same issue. The water reservoir has a valve in a nipple on the bottom that slides into a clear plastic fitting within the base of the unit. Water from the reservoir is supposed to pass through the fitting and into the pump, which is also in the base. Over time, hard water deposits can build up on the nipple or the mating fitting (or both) such that a good seal is not made when the reservoir is in place and water slowly leaks out the bottom. To fix this, I removed the five screws on the bottom of the Keurig and then removed the two screws which hold the fitting in place. I gently cleaned both the clear plastic fitting and the nipple in the bottom of the reservoir with white vinegar. After rinsing both with clean water and drying both, I applied a small amount of silicon faucet grease (available at any hardware store) to both parts. I haven't had any more leaks since, although I assume I will have to repeat this operation periodically.

Water gets into the machine OK, but it gets stuck on the rinse cycle and continues until I stop it. The tablet does not get dissolved because it doesn't get past the rinse cycle. Please help! Christy

This does sound like a problem with the "anti-flood" device that does detect water (leak / spill) at the base of the washer. This device is a protection device that consists of a polystirene float and a micro swithch. Once a water leak od spill is detected it automatically puts the washer in pump out mode. You need to determine if a leak exists that has caused the float to trigger the micro switch and clear the water / leak. This should put the washer back to normal.
