Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have had two error codes with my Pixma 830 both occuring after 1 year ownership. Canon repaired the first under warranty, the second is on me. The cost of having it looked at is $75.00 a new HP is $125, and they don't require proprietary ink cartridges. This machine is way too sensitive, and cannot be services unless you have a Canon franchise. I'm going to throw it away.

I had the same problem and contacted Canon about getting a replacement and they never got back to me. Then one day the error message was gone and it started working again.

6A00 is a problem with the sheet feed unit.
Follow Canon's suggestion, take it or send the unit UPS to the Authorized Repair Facility.
You will NOT be able to resolve the problem yourself.
