Question about Honda Garden

1 Answer

The motor is running fine and some pressure is coming out but not like it should. I used it a couple of days ago and it could peel the paint off a car and now it will hardly knock any dirt off my deck. What could be the problem. Again there is pressure but not like there should be. I have checked all nozzles and connections and checked the filter. I put a fresh oil job in it.

Sounds like the bypass valve is stuck. You need to locate it and lube it

Epoxy paint on garage floor

You test moisture presence with plastic sheeting and tape. Tape a 1 foot square of plastic sheeting to the floor after you dry it out with a blow dryer. Check back in a couple of days. If its wet, you have a seepage issue.

My weber genesis silver-b (sku # 218446) is 11 years old and has this "peeling problem". Is anyone "sure" that it isn't "paint/enamel" that is peeling on a model that was...

I'ts the same today as it was back then. They still use porcelain enamel. Not paint. A couple of things that could ease your mind. Paint has like a kerosene smell to it. Also, drop a chunk in water for a few days, paint will not dissolve in water.

My new hunter fan feels hot when its on high and smells funny but its only been used just this once since i installed it a couple of days ago is this normal

Yes. The outer paint on your fan motor gets heated up first time and when new it does give off some kind of smell. But after a few hours of use the smell should disappear. Smell can come from the winding also.

Need to repaint bubbled and peeling paint on top of dryer

The choice is yours. Money often motivates these decisions. If the model number you have this listed under is correct, the top panel price is roughly $108 to $160 depending on the color you need. White or Bisquit is the cheapest, while Pewter is the most expensive. If you wish to replace it, appliancepartspros.com carries it for the cheapest price.

If you wish to paint it, remove the panel from the dryer first by locating and removing the screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the dryer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off. This will allow you to work on it in a more convenient location and avoid any overspray from paint on your appliance. Make sure you clean the surface throughly to remove anything that may have caused the paint to bubble and peel in the first place (Ospho is commonly used to clean metal surfaces in preparation for painting - clean AFTER you sand). I would sand with a fine grit sand paper or emery cloth to ensure you don't leave any surface scratches. Prime the entire panel to provide a good surface for the new paint to adhere to. Once the primer is dry, apply a couple of good coats of appliance paint. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Paint peeling

The paint you need is called microwave cavity paint. If they don't have it at your local hardware store, you may get it at www.appliance411.com/data.php?rc=277

Be sure to sand the area first with some emory cloth to remove any loose paint flakes.
