You just have to wait a few minutes after the spin cycle is over and the "done" light is on. At least that always works for me.

Why will my washer not spin in the rinse cycle

Because you have e too much soap and froth in the machine. The level sensor thinks is is still not full of water make sure that you don't over soap the machine and clearly ensure a filter is not blocked in the pump trap down the borrow of the front panel under the little door opening. Open this up and clear all obstacles . Good luck.

Washer Control Locked blinking and won't washer won't work

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

Washer won't spin the water out after the rinse cycle

Probably the filter is clogged. It usually is at the bottom of the washer, either at the front or at the back of the washer, it normally looks like the fuel door of a car. You must open the metal door, release the lid (maybe at this point some water will come out) and then clean it. Put lid back, close the little door and try again with the rinse stage.
Good luck

Wash doesn't go through full cycle

I have a Maytag model A490 clothes washer. It works fine up to the rinse cycle and then shuts down. When it reaches this point it has become necessary to manually advance the dial a short ways whereupon it will fill with water and complete the rinse and spin cycles. This happens on both the regular and the permanent press cycles. What needs to be done to fix this problem?

Whirlpool Washing Machine Quitting during rinse cycle

I would say that based on your problem description that the lid /door switch has a loose or faulty contact .. If you open and close it a few times..it starts to spin and yet when you open it.. it doesn't always stop the spinning.. It is either the switch or the actuator that bumps that switch.. That is where I would begin diagnosing the problem... Hope that helps..

Maytag neptune won;t rinse

Check latch mechanism for alignment. Often operation of machine loosens latch mechanism causing internal switch for "door open (or ajar)" preventing rinse or spin cycle. Opening and closing door presses latch mechanism closing internal switch allowing for continue processing to rinse or spin cycles.
