Stanley Staple gun TR45 staples getting stuck on the track how can I open it to un-jam or clean the track?

I think one of my employees got glue or something onto the staples inside whilst using it - I need to open up the loading mechanism to clean it as the staples do not move into position by means of the spring as they stick to the rail. if I jiggle the spring loader I can do 1 staple and then need to jiggle it again to get the next one to staple

SOURCE: staple gun

Open the chamber and drop the staples upright in to the chamber do not try to load the staples by placing them on the strip that pulls out as you do with most staple guns.

SOURCE: Just purchased t27 arrow staple

That stapler takes a jt21 staple. some fill from the bottom when the plunger is in the drawn back position and some fill from the rear with plunger removed. If the plunger is attached, then it fills from the bottom. Hope this helps:)

SOURCE: how do i open the

Angelbabie...Like most things, it's pretty easy if you know how.

1.Release the loading latch located on the back end of the staple gun by pinching it with your thumb in a downward motion. This will release the catch and allow you to pull the loading slide out.

2.Hold the gun upside down (so the staple don't fall out) and place a stick of staples in the bottom of the channel which will be exposed once you pull back the loading slide.

3.Push the slide back in and make sure the latch is engaged. All good to go!

Happy stapling.

SOURCE: Stanley TR 250 Staple Gun Staple cartridge problem

very simple to fix it 1 pull the trigger all the way out 2 there is a little piece of metal, pull it all the way out (detach the piece out from the gun) an connect one side of the spring 3 push the piece back on the gun. 4 on the other side of the spring tide a little fishing line 5 pass the fishing line over a small rounded piece and pull it hard 6 finally connect the side of the spring onto a little hock on the base of the trigger

The big box stores (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) don't carry the full Stanley line. Ace and TrueValue (or equivalent) may carry staples for this unit. You can always find them online. Amazon will probably have them.

The spring in Stanley TR45 light duty sharpshooter does not work, where can I get a new spring?

Hi,

From what I have read, and I've searched, Stanley doesn't make parts for this staple gun. Only found hammer tacker springs.
Here is the phone number for Stanley customer service: 800-262-2161
It's a remote chance that one of those might fit.....

Hope this helps. If it does, please place a vote for me. Thanks,

Can't get staples to go inside my stanley TR45 gun

I have had same problem and found out I had the wrong staples...If you know for sure you have correct staples you probably have one that is not visable that is jammed sideways....It is almost impossible to see....You will need a small long pocket magnet to slide inside of stapler.

My gun will not shoot staples after loaded I thin there is a part missing

Staple gun are simple device and the 'shooting' mechanism is just a sring loaded bar that hammers the staple out: the problem is usually a jam/stuck staple where the staple in the orifice where the staple comes out. Just use a small screwdriver and /or plier to remove the stuck staple which could be jammed against the hammer bar. You may need to force the hammer bar backwards with the help of your small flat head screwdriver.

Hope it helps!
