Is it okay to use glass whistler tea kettle on ceramic stove top range

I've seen mixed results across the internet on this one. From personal experience, for some reason, my glass teapot left some sort of stain on my ceramic stovetop. It also took longer to heat. I then went out and bought a simple metal one and have been pretty satisfied. If cosmetics are a concern, it's not too difficult a step to pour the water into your teapot after the fact, right?

LG Xenon dropped in glass of tea.

So now you have "rice tea"? Try to recover it by opening it up and removing everything you can (battery, sim card, etc). Help it dry using a dry, clean source of blown air for 1/2 hour or so. Work the air around to blow out any moisture. Wait a day or so and do it again. Then assemble it and tell me and your friends if you liked the rice tea recipe.

Spilled tea on keypad of macbook now it doesn't work

Open laptop and lay on heavy towels with the keyboard facing down, remove charger and main battery, most of the tea should drain out in this position, contact a service centre to assess the motherboard, sooner the better.

Internal battery dead

So, lets say it's a newer Macbook? When I answer questions here, I generally prefer to have the serial# of the Macbook listed so I can move very quickly and help. If I have that information, I can learn nothing about you, only the machine. And since I have an IQ of 180, all you wishful girls can fall off.

Dead battery means a bad power source that has damaged the battery. Your problem is your charger. Throw it off a cliff unless it will hurt someone

Having bought the new charger
WATCH CLOSELY. I really don't have time here to babysit you.
If it's charging fine and normally, the cliff throw was good.

I was born grinning.
Are you intelligent enough to make me sad?

Best Regards maccies

Can i use a universal ac charger on my apple notebook or do i need the original apple charger

You can use a universal adapter if you find one as long as the output voltage matches an original so that way the laptop turns on and would charge the battery. If you buy a universal adapter without the output voltages matching up then you take a chance on either the laptop not turning on or the laptop turning on and not charging up the battery.

I dropped my Harmony 880 into a glass of iced tea top first, usb port down. I can see the display and it seemed to work at first but after a few minutes, the display is showing but nothing is working. I...

You will need to dis-assemble the remote and try to completely dry it out. You will need to remove the battery cover and the batteries. Inside the battery compartment should have very small screws with a phillips head. You will need to use a jeweler's screwdriver set to remove the screws. Then you should be able to use a flatblade screwdriver from the jeweler's set to seperate the remote control case. If the iced tea was sweetened with sugar then you will need to clean up the residue with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip after you have dried it out. Once the case is seperated you will need to shake out any excess water. Then use a can of compressed air or a air compressor to blow out the excess liquid from the remote. You can also use a hair dryer for this process. Once it is completely dried out it should start working again. You might need to leave it dis-assembled overnight so it can dry out completely.

My cell phone has no network connection

Try this: turn off the phone & let it charge for 48hours, that will give it enough time for the electricity to dry out the internal circuitry in the phone and possibly fix your internal antennae problem...if that doesn't work then your phone's tea bath may have shorted the antennae.
