reset error code 01. pulled dishwasher out removed kick plate
tipped at 45 deg angle and found no leaks or water. turn breaker off
and back on after 20 minutes still doesn't clear.
There should be a reset on the controls, either a button that you hold on for 3+secs or two buttons you press simultaneously indicates on the panel by a dot under there relevant buttons, joined by a line. Please post the ENr if this does not work
I had this problem and followed the advice from Gallagher to no avail.
I sorted it as follows andd bear to mind I have never seen inside a dishwasher. I found the float valve and removed the connection to open circuit the switch, still the same, I then did the same to the sensor in the water container still the same. I concluded that the only thing left was the control module in the door. I got the pcb on line for 22-00 and fitted it. job sorted
It says the changing of the module requires an expert, dont know why its a piece of cake.
see this possible caues: Water-heating cycle the heating element will be faulty, see the video, the water must be preheated Timer: test for wiring broken, loose, or burn, or timer defective God bless you
Seems to be relatively common. Ma doing one now with that exact problem. If you hold button in for about 10 seconds, it should reset.(switch off then on again to push start.). If same action continues, the electronic module needs to be replaced.
IF your dishwasher is a 220 volt unit find and reset BOTH breakers for it. Also make sure someone hasn't inadvertantly hit the"heat dry" button to off.
I have a Kenwood Kdw8st2a and have been constantly plagued by the E4 overfill error.
Lifting the front of the dishwasher and tilting it backwards seemed to clear the E4 error only for it to come back after the next wash.
I found eventually that the connection to the U bend under the sink was too narrow and was almost blocked hence the dishwasher was not emptying properly.
I disconnected the dishwasher waste pipe and ran the waste into a bucket for about 6 cycles and it worked fine.
Eventually drilled through the kitchen wall and fitted a lower direct waste pipe to the drain. Overkill maybe buit it hasn't done an E4 since.
reset the programme to start another and does it drain? if not there may be a blockage/pump fault.
if it stopped halfway through a wash the wash motor may be blocked/siezed.
if it is doing nothing there may be a broken wire at the base of the door on the inside. tone. plz reply when you have tried various stages.
