Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
This machine has worked fine until today but now my machine starts to fill, then just stop/goes for very short time. then stops and beeps, and leaves 2 time of wash lights on and the orange and red spin lights as well as the slow and hold light
help me please, my washing is in piles now.
I have exactly the same issue, which first appeared yesterday. Following your advice, the lights that are lit are 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th. The SLOW & HOLD spin speed lights are lit, along with constant beeping :)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi just read you posting.Could you please confirm the fault code for me.1st push and hold the WASH TEMPERATURE DOWN button then press the POWER button until the machine gives you 2 short beeps, then release both buttons. Now press the SPIN UP or DOWN button until the HOLD and SLOW SPIN LEDs are both on.Now the fault code will appear in the WASH PROGRESS lights. Please reply to confirm which lights are lit.Are they the same as your 1st posting? To get back to normal operation turn machine off at the power point.Looking forward to your reply.

Hi just read your posting. Now when the machine beeps a series of lights will light up.They will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right which ones are lit.Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 1st and 6th ---etc---?Please reply with additional information and I can help you rectify this fault.

Although slightly unclear these are the only possible error combinations for the leds on the machine as you look at it with red always on the end right hand side.
(11) 1011 (Green - nil - Orange - Red) - pressure problems perhaps a blockage in the tube to bowl.
(13) 1101 (Green-Orange-nil-Red) - pump is faulty
(15) 1111 (all lights on) - display module is faulty
I do not recall that the leds across the spin speed actually means something.
