Probly yes. Not knowing the exact model #
i can not tell you whether or not the chassi assy would have to be sent to Mitsubishi for
refurbishing or not. If it is a 7 year old crt based projection, there is a DM assy that is no longer supported by Mitsubishi. If it is the last series of crt the DM is repaiable.
Otherwise the chassi would have to be sent
to Mitsubishi for refurb. You will need to contact a service facilty for Mitsubishi to
do this. A average cost of referb. is around
800.00 plus labor of uninstalling and reinstalling.
Good Luck,
Hope this helped,

I TOOK APART THE TV TO MOVE IT DOWNSTAIRS AND it worked great for 10 minutes and then shut down. I have the code and it is green and 2 and 2

That is called the "Parpadeo luz verde de la muerte" or Blinking green light of death. You may want to make sure all the wires are tight first and that when you moved it a cable wasn't seated. Instead of replacing the capacitors, your situation sounds more like bad solder connections on the DM module. Here is a link to a web forum where they talk about this exact problem.http://www.highdefforum.com/rear-projection-tvs/58189-blinking-green-light-death-frequent-prob-w-mitsubishi-rear-proj-widescreens.html Blinking Green Light of ***** frequent prob Mitsubishi rear proj...

Can't turn on the TV. Green light keeps blinking.

You need to change the four capacitors C9B01,C9B02,C9B10,C9B11 all 1000 MFD 16 VOLT (on the DM board which is inside the metal shield standing upright on the left looking from the back of the set)The tops of the capacitors will look puffed out making them easy to find. This is your HD tuner digital board which is trying to reboot but can't - when the green light stops blinking after a minute, than you can power on your TV.

Hello. I have a Mitsubishi ws-65511 that does not have a picture or sound. A green flashing lite blinks too quickly to count the number of flashes and must be over 30-50 before it pauses. Do you think...

i think if you pull the back cover off it will have a few sets of leds that will tell you whats wrong. be careful not to touch any of the high voltage circuit boards

The green lite is blinking and the tv will not

The steady blinking led is indicating that the DM isnt completeing the boot sequence, which usually is caused by failed capacitors. You can get the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which should repair that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and the CD with detailed instructions.

BLINKING GREEN LIGHT AND WILL NOT POWER UP.

The capacitors vent causing them not to work anymore. There are 4 of them on the dm board check to see if the tops are buldging.
