Question about Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera
I've misplaced the darn Manual for my POWERSHOT S3 IS so no idea how to video except press the video button. I'd rather be prepared because this may be only a once p/yr. opportunity. I've not videod before but done photog. I have to shoot BUGS . BUGS DANCING. Yes. So they're smaller than recording a mountain or a person etc.! I probably don't need to use my Macro-Macro feature but will have to get approx. 8-12 inches from subject. Can I keep the camera steady? or a tripod? Do I have to provide auxiliary lighting although can film in daylight. I have to ah-hem, also record my voice singing, because they won't dance unless I sing and it has to be the right song. So, does video automatically sound-record? Is it possible to instruct me for this? Just a basic step-by-step approach? I'd appreciate it!
Turn the selection knob on the top of your camera to an icon that sorta looks like a video camera on a tripod, then push the record button to record.Video mode autonatically records sound. You might want to add auxilliary kighting if shooting indoors.
