Hello, as u read earlier my Dell Inspiron N4010 (as given in the sys information) overheats quickly. Plus the battery doesn't support the Laptop for more than half an hour or so. Another Problem is that I like to play Warcarft 3 in multiplayer in GARENA and when I do, The CPU usage (as shown in Task Manager) goes about 100%. And then the computer gets very slow until I close 1 of them. Please give me possible explanations and solutions for these above mentioned problems

Start by cleaning the fan and heat sink. Dirt or dust build up can cause them not to work as efficiently as they should. If cleaning doesn't fix it, you might consider replacing the fan and heat sink or purchasing a cooling pad.

As a systems engineer I daresay you did not use any hardware updates from the Microsoft Update page? If so roll back the drivers you downloaded
Alternatively if you identify processes that do not belong use the following program to terminate them http://majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
It is a straight-forward program called hijackthis it makes a log of the currently running processes and allows you to terminate ANY of them hence care is advised
I sincerely hope this helped

I guess it could be a virus, avast is not the best antivirus in my opinion, try to get a norton antivirus or NOD32 update it and run the scan, it ocuurs when a replicating virus copies files to all your HDD and is always busy...making system busy...and one more thing there could easily be a copy of the virus in your pen drive as well...

uninstall any energy management software provided by dell and then check.if the issue is not resolved then the issue is with the converter board as it is heating up.
