Question about Epson Stylus CX7000F All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printer will not work

The light is on, but it does not respond to command. There''s an "N" at the end of the line in the message box; I don't know if this means anything. Once it printed something from years ago!

I assume you are using a windows o/s and right click my computer>device manager and look for this printer there. If you see an yellow interrogation mark sign next to it then there is something wrong with it either there is an IRQ conflict or else you may need to reinstall the driver. If none of these work then test this on another pc and if it is the same problem then you will need a new printer.

Printer not responding is error message I have tried all fix ideas I can find any suggestions

It is hard to reply without knowing what your actual attempted fixes were. I have the online Manual and the main solutions, if the error message was on the LCD, were focused on the Fine cartridges..making sure they were installed properly and if you might possibly be running out of ink.

There is some problem in printing options. Please check and make default setting in the Printer properties. Go to Control Panel --> Select the printer --> Open printer window --> properties --> make them defauls --

During print command check whether the spooling in printer window goes completely or not (if it stop in middle )

Let me know in brief to solve this problem before going to reinstall printer drivers and do not vote till you recieve a good solution for this problem.

All in One Printer/Scanner/Copier will not respond to print command.

Pls make sure that your computer recognizes your Printer, if it doesn't it would never respond to any print command you sent
check to see (if the computer recognizes)
1- go to start then select printer
2- select your desired printer - right click
3- go to properties
4- select print PRINT TEST PAGE
5- check the message on your paper

if it doesnt then you might have installed a wrong driver

Mattazon
I tried your recommendation:
Go to-> Run and type cmd
that should be, (type "cmd") (do I actually put in "type cmd or only cmd?)
Then hit return (when I hit return, a black box came-up-C:\\documents and settings\connie hall-the curser was blinking at the end of this, instead of on the next line) Was it fully loaded?
Then you instructed me to type: scconfigspooler= RPCSS then hit return to reboot the computer. I did this but the computer still didn't load the hardware. I just wanted to make sure i typed the right command. please respond.

Will not respond to print command

download the newest software from web and install it. if its not helping, check connections, if your printer has a display and menu key, you can print aut configuration and demo sheets, to see that the printer itself works. if not the last option is firmware upgrade.
