Lamp replacement on 52HM95

I can not get the lamp to pull straight out. Screws are loose. It seems that it is hanging up on something, but it will not pull straight out as the instructions show.

Re: Lamp replacement on 52HM95

I replaced a lamp recently and had to lift up slightly when pulling the lamp out. You may want to try that.

How do i replace burned out lamp

It's very simple, on the back of the TV you will find a square vented plastic cover held in by 4 screws. Remove the screws, you'll now see the lamp housing being held in by 1 or 2 screws. Remove the screw (or screws) you'll now see the lamp housing, it has a metal handle that pulls the lamp (and housing) straight out of it's slot. I purchased mine at Lamp Monsters on Amazon (Samsung Lamp with Housing BP96-01600A) for about $30.00. You will see them priced from 30 bucks up to and above $300 bucks! Good luck I hope this helps! Change lamp

Hello, first unplug the tv, then there's a thumb screw on each side on the rear of the set that holds the speaker cover on the front of the tv, when they're loose (they won't come out) firmly grasp the speaker cover on one side and pull it off (there are little post that lock it in). When the speaker cover is removed, there is a cover left of center with a black thumb screw loosen it again the screw won't come all the way out and remove the gray cover. You are now looking at the back of the lamp, there is an allen head screw (if you got a Sony lamp the allen wrench is provided) Loosen the screw and grasp the lamp and pull it straight back and it's out.Install the new lamp and tighten the screw and replace the cover and re-tighten the thumb screw on it. Replace the speaker grill but start the thumb screws before you press it all the way on, after the screws are started then "pop" it into place and tighten the screws and plug the tv back in.Turn it on, if it shuts itself off and power light blinks 4 times the cover over the lamp wasn't put on correct....tls

Toshiba 52hm95 lamp breaks after only weeks of use

It is as far as the set is concerned, it sees the lamp not on.

Most likely cause would be the lamp ballast that drives the lamp.

The red light flashes 3 times & it wont come on

Its time to replace the lamp, check for a small entrance around T.V has only one screw open that entrance reach in and grab the lamp handle it might have a couple of screws before you pull straight out. check the bulb like if u were to check a regular light bulb to see if its not broken in the inside or check for any loose glass in the inside of the lamp u would know right away if it needs to be replaced. if its damage order your lamp on line just type in model # of T.V and write lamp along too.

My tv was accidentally unplugged while it was still on and when i turned it back on there is audio no video and the green light just flashes next the to the red light and the tv turns on and off by itself...

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems to be a shutdown circuit problem, and a problem in the section of the TV that provides High Voltage to drive the raster creating circuitry. Usually the issue is with the bulb going bad however, as you have already replaced the bulb few months back, so in your case this would also be the DLP related circuitry which includes the light engine (white light bulb/Color wheel drive circuitry or LED array, DLP chip and associated circuitry). If you want to do the repair yourself then it is highly recommended that you should have knowledge of internal circuitry of the TV, if not then it is always better to take assistance from a qualified repair tech. The cost of repair will be around $300 including labor if you get it done by a professional.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Replacing the light lamp for the 60V500

Hi, pull off the plastic cover just below the bottom of the screen, remove the phillips screw from the lamp door cover then the screws from the lamp housing and pull straight out, do not touch the glass portion of the lamp with your fingers, the oil from your skin will shorten the life of the lamp,
when installing new lamp push into tunnel just far enough that it touches end of tunnel then snug with screws. DO NOT push in hard on lamp, re-install lamp door and front plastic cover and enjoy,
good luck, video tek
