SOURCE: Philps Zenia 200 Cordless Phone -- Voice mail problem

It might be worth resetting the software for teh phone. Not sure if it is the correct solution, but it might be worth a go. To complete this process, please implement the following: 1) Disconnect the power cable from the main base station. 2) Remove the batteries from all of the handsets. 3) Leave for 5 minutes and then connect everything back again. Please note that this process will not delete any telephone numbers from your phone book or any other saved information. If applicable, you will need to set the time and date.

SOURCE: Home digital cordless phone Motorola ME4067-2 manual

Hi, I have this phone.

I don't have a manual (I'm looking for one too) but think I can help 43109475 with their German language problem.

On the base unit, there's a button with the word MENU next to it. Each time you press this, you will hear something (in your case, in German) and the 2-digit LED display will flash something at you. Press the MENU button several times (waiting for the speach to finish each time) until you to get to an option that doesn't have a corresponding speach prompt - I think the LED display will flash LA at you - I presume for LAnguage.

If you then press the buttons either side of the PLAY button, you will cycle through the language options. If memory serves, there are three options - one of them English. So just go through the options until you hear something you can understand. Once you've heard something in English, you can press MENU again, and go through each of the menu options to set date, remote access codes, etc.

Good luck!

SOURCE: Uniden power max 2.4 ghz

I had the same problem but figured it out. For some dumb reason, Caller ID numbers count against your total phonebook memory. So if you just delete all your Caller ID numbers (press the "Caller ID" button and then the "delete" button) then you'll be able to store new numbers in your phonebook.

If I could get my hands on the Uniden engineer that is responsible for this, I'd smack him! :)

SOURCE: Need to delete phone entries in the Phonebook

Hi. Not sure if this will help but on my Panasonic cordless phone (different model to yours), there's a button labeled "mute/clear" which is used to clear text when entering text for phone entries. Well, if you scroll through you phone book to the the entry you want to delete and then rather than pressing "Edit", press "clear" and, if it's like mine, it will ask you if you want to erase the entry, and you press "yes". Hope it works for you.

UNIDEN TRU8888-CALLER ID DOES NOT WORK

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. I think you have stored more than 100 Caller ID messages and hence the caller ID is not showing on Uniden Tru8888. In the following cases the caller ID will not be shown-

If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.

When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)

When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.

You may receive any one of the following messages:

When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data

The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.

Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Forgot how to add new phone numbers and names to my phone

Creating Phonebook Entries To store names and numbers in your Phonebook, please follow these steps: When the phone is in standby mode, press [phonebook icon] (on the left side of the four-way key). To create a new phonebook entry, press the NEW soft key. Edit Name appears. Enter the name for this entry (Edit Name). Use the keypad to enter a name for this entry; the name can contain up to 1 6 characters. (See page 1 1 for instructions on entering text.) If you do not want to enter a name for this entry, your phone will store this entry as No Name. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. Enter the number for this entry (Edit Number 1). Once you have stored a name, EDIT NUMBER1 appears next. Use the number keypad, [right] or [left] on the four-way function key, or the DELETE soft key to enter the phone number 1 ; the phone number can contain up to 32 digits. If you need the phone to pause between digits when it’s dialing (for example, to enter an extension or an access code), press [redial/pause] to insert a two-second pause. You will see a P in the display. You can also use more than one pause together if two seconds is not long enough. Each pause counts as one digit. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. EDIT NUMBER 2 appears next. Use the same procedure when entering the phone number 1 to enter the phone number 2. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. Assign a personal ring tone for this entry (Personal Ring). You can attach a personalized ring tone to each phonebook entry; the phone will use this ring tone when this person calls. Move the cursor to highlight one of the 20 different ring tone options. As you highlight each ring tone, you will hear a sample of that tone. When you hear the ring tone you want to use, press the OK soft key. If you do not want to use a personal ring tone for this phonebook entry, select the NO SELECTION option, and the phone will use your standard ring tone setting. Assign this entry to a Speed Dial number (Speed Dial). Your phone has 1 0 speed dial numbers, 0 to 9. Move the cursor to select the speed dial number you want to assign to this phonebook entry, and press the OK soft key. Select NO SELECTION if you do not want to assign this entry to a speed dial number. Press the OK soft key. You will hear a tone confirming that the new phonebook entry has been stored, and DONE! appears in the display. Note: When the shared memory is full, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

How do I save telephone numbers to a uniden powermax 5.8 ghz cordless telephone

Phonebook (Storing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive
Rings and Speed Dial)
You can store names and numbers in your phone’s phonebook, search for names
alphabetically, and dial phonebook entries with just a few key presses. You can
store up to 100 numbers in the base and up to 100 additional numbers in each
registered handset.
The phone uses the same memory to store phonebook entries and Caller ID
messages. If the shared memory is already full, the phone will not store any more
phonebook entries. You will have to delete some of the Caller ID messages before
you can store a new phonebook entry.
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press phonebook.
2) Press the STORE soft key, S t o r e / E d i t N a m e appears.
3) Enter the name (up to 16 characters) by using the
number keypad (see the "Steps for Entering Names and
Special Characters" on page 44).
If a name is not required, go to step 4. <No Name> will
be used as the name.
4) Press the OK soft key to store the name;
S t o r e / E d i t N o . appears.
5) Use the number keypad, */tone/<, or #/> to enter the
phone number (up to 20 digits).
If you make an error, use the DELETE soft key to erase
the incorrect digits. When you are finished, press the
OK soft key to store the number.

6) If you store the phonebook entry from the handset,
D i s t i n c t i v e R i n g appears. Press volume up/down to
move the pointer to one of the Distinctive Ring options
and then press the OK soft key.
7) S p e e d D i a l appears. Press volume up/down to move the
