Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC

Same Problem... Upgraded from Win7 beta v7048 to pre-RTM v7229

Same problem... as stated, Lifecam vx6000 works in Vista (got a dual boot) worked in Win7 bv7048 and after upgrading to pre-RTM v7229 it stopped working. The system complains about "vVx6000.exe" being incompatible and therefore being blocked. This sucks! It really IS amazing how the only hardware that isn't working is an M$ webcam!

Version of webcam driver is v2.91 for Win7 x64...

Yes windows 7 releases have some compatibility issues with the older versions of many softwares and hardware devices try finding the location of the file you mentioned right click and open the properties go to the compatibility tab and set compatibility mode to vista service pack 2 apply settings and try to run the program it should work now or else you will have to wait for a version compatiable with your hardware device like i did for my radeon xpress chipset

Have you tried a driver from View-Sonic?
Their download page is:

http://ftp.viewsonic.com/support/drivers/index.cfm

If you can't find a Windows 7 driver, the vista or XP driver might work. Good luck.

I search for a driver vista or win7 for magigcolor

If the manufacturer of the copier does not make a driver for vista or win 7 64 bit, then you can't use it.

I ran into the same problem a few years back when I upgraded to XP pro 64. I resolved the problem by utilizing Microsoft dual-boot feature. When I need to print or copy, I rebooted to my XP 32 bit system to do the work.

Eventually I purchased new equipment that was compatible with 64 bit systems

Installation issue

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
