The machine will automatically reset the maintenance message when the fuser is replaced.
There is a looped wire on the fusing unit connector containing a thermo fuse (a thin wire that quicly melts, and then short the cirquit).
If you don't want to replace the fuser yet, you can probably set the machine to meter charge, SP mode 5930, and then reset the maintenance counter with SP mode 7804.
You can of course take out the fuser, and replace it with a dirt cheap thermo fuse bought from Ebay. Then set the fuser back into the printer, and it will clear the maintenance message automatically.
Either way should work fine, at least it used to do that on the previous model - and it is almost identical.
Wow! That's sure a tricky situation! Just had a look at my needle clamp screw set-up through a magnifying glass. It seems to me that there is a very small Allen screw just above the needle clamp screw place. Could you use a small Allen key and undo this, hopefully releasing the whole needle clamp assembly. The cheap kits sold in chain stores for repairing glasses may well contain a tiny Allen key. Your next challenge will be to locate a new needle clamp assembly, but a Husqvarna dealer should be able to help you out there. There is an excellent online place for buying spares but I am very sorry I can't remember its name. Try Google? You could try taking it to a hardware store and seeing if someone there can help you with a suggestion on how to remove the screw shank.
Hello, I checked online at several major grill parts stores, including Thermos' own website and none of them have the shelf on this grill available for sale. I would suggest keeping an eye on out for the shelf on Ebay and other auction sites that may have it used or possibly used grills sold cheap that you can part out. Also try looking on Craigslist and putting up a want ad on there as well as on Ebay. Good luck!
I take it the oven will not heat. there is a safety thermo inside the grilles. it can be reset.. turn the power off at the breaker...
remove the grille..inside of the door. then look inside the thermo is has two wires going to it and a red button in the middle.. push the red button down it will reset the thermo with a click... replace grille and restore power...
hope it helps..
