download limewire then add all your songs there. Then go to options and transfer options. After browse your files and select a file. Then go to itunes and click file in the left hand corner and click add file to library. There should be files and click the one you added your limewire song to. then drag the library to your ipod icon.
You can't use Limewire directly to transfer songs to the Nextar. You will need to transfer the songs to the Nextar using Windows Media Player. Limewire puts the songs in a folder called "Limewire Downloads" usually. You will need to open Windows Media Player, run the mouse over the "Library" tab, and select "Add to Library." Once the window pops up you will need to add the folder called "Limewire Downloads" - it may take several minutes, but Windows Media Player is going to add all of those Limewire downloads to its own library. Then, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to the Nextar.
Get Limewire - make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date.
When you find songs on Limewire, notice that not every song they have is in Mp3 format - only download the songs that are in mp3 format.
Caution: Some ISP's will suspend your service if you use Limewire.
Other options are Frostwire (make sure your anti-virus software is strong) and Morpheus.
Once the songs are downloaded, go into Windows Media Player --> run the mouse over the Library tab --> a little black arrow will appear underneath the Library tab, click on it --> click on the "Add to Library" option and add your "Limewire Downloads" folder to the list of folders that Windows Media Player searches - it will add all of the songs from that folder to Windows Media Player.
Then use the Sync tab to transfer songs from your computer to your Sansa Clip.
I would highly NOT reccomend the free route, but there it is.
You can use the Media transfer software that comes with the player, or hilight and drag the files from Limewire into Windows Media Player, then open up the sync tab and make a list and hit sync. If you do this, make sure that the file is not being played on Limewire. You can ensure this by hitting the stop button on the Limewire Media Player, or playing a totally different song by double clicking the file in your Limewire Library.
Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.
YOU DON'T YOU NEED A WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER SO THAT YOU CAN SAVE ALL OF YOUR SONGS THEN CLICK SYNC & DRAG THEM OVER TO YOUR LIST & ADD THEM TO THE SONGS YOU ALREADY HAVE ON YOUR SANSA CLIP...
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go into 'Limewire', select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'Sansa e200' and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your Sansa e200 folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/Sansa] Music.
