If you will contact the customer service reps at Products America they can not only provide you with the information you are needing but also provide you with the parts themselves. Their phone numbers are 800-205-9642 or 800-772-1041. They can also provide assembly instructions, at no charge, if needed!

SOURCE: need to find out what size screws for a simplicity

First, I would be very cautious. Several of these cribs were recalled. You can check the Consumer Products Safety Commission to see if your crib was involved.

http://search.cpsc.gov/query.html?col=pubweb&charset=iso-8859-1&qt=simplicity

Secondly, this company went out of business and I was unable to contact anyone about ordering parts or manuals.

If you have the manual, it will tell you how many and what size screws you need.

If you don't have that I would try measuring the distance the screws need to go this will tell you the lengh of the screws needed. Then measure the distance of the hole, this will tell you how large of a screw to buy 1/2" 1/4" etc.

You can take this to your local hardware store such as Ace, Home Depot, Lowe's and ask them to help you pick out the correct items.

Missing bottom case screws-need size

Sometimes there is a screw code next to the screw. Look at this code and then find a screw code with the same code, then remove this matching screw and yiu will be able to identify the screw you need.

I need a missing screw for my baby crib the name for the screw in the manual factory in screw JBC 06x16mm is a Carter crib.. i hope u hear about ya soon.. thanks

Hello,
You can get this screw at any hardware store.the dimensions you listed dictate the exact size and thread you need. The first number is the size of the screw (diameter, in this case in millimeters). And the second number is the pitch of the threads on the screw. Pitch is the distance between one thread to the next thread in short (in millimeters in this case). The only other thing you would need is the length. In short any 6mm X 16mm screw will do so long as you have the right length as the screw will come in many lengths.
Regards, Tony
