Internet explorer 8 address bar history wont delte. Please help

Well first of all next you want to surf the net without the computer storing any data you should do it in private mode, activate this by pressing the Safety menu and selecting Inprivate Browsing.
Now to erase the address history go to Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab in the autocomplete Section click settings then press Delete Autocomplete History, and select there if you want the Explorer to store future browsing data.

Did you try to delete your history from within IE 8? If you press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL with IE8 open it brings up the box to delete your history.
