How do I turn off protocol monitor on sharp fax model fo-235

Had exact same problem on UX 177. You need to clear the memory. On the UX 177 unplug machine, press and hold down the COPY button then press and hold down the STOP button. Keeping these two buttons pressed plug machine in. It should display message "clear memory ?" let go of the COPY and STOP buttons and press the START button. Will then display message "memory cleared". This will also wipe out all other programming but it is the only way to stop protocol report. Then reprogram all your settings.
That stopped protocol report printing after each fax. On some machines it may be the stop and start button the need to be held down on startup. It also seems to make a difference which button you push first even though machine is unplugged.
This problem returns after a power failure so if you have a lot of numbers programmed in you might want to get an inexpensive uninterruptible power supply or plug fax into UPS for computer if you have one.

Brother MFC 240C clear Machine Error 46, IT HAS REPLACEMENT OF PAD INK, BUT STILL HAS THIS ERROR, HOW CAN I DELETED FROM SCREEN??

In order to resolve the issue we try to resetting purge counter:

1) Enter machine maintenance mode (on MFC210C all four photo/copy/fax/scan lights flash in maintenance mode). Care is needed in maintenance mode, otherwise critical settings may be inadvertently corrupted.

Press the Menu/Set, *, 2, 8, 6 and 4 keys within two seconds. (if you fail to complete the correct key sequence within two seconds, press the Stop key to try again).

2) Press the 8 then 0 keys in the initial stage of the maintenance mode to call up the machine's log information list (function code 80).

3) Press the Black Start key several times to scroll through the log information list to reach the purge counter. The purge counter is the 25th item in the list.

4) Press the 2, 7, 8, and 3 keys in this order to reset the purge count to zero.

5) Press the Stop/Exit key to return to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.

6) Press the 9 key twice to return to the standby state.

This will resolve the issue.

Brother printer machine error 46 indicates in the LCD

All you need to do is to reset the purge counter. These steps worked in MFC620CN/420CN/410CN/210C/240C and FAX2440C models, and may work in others.
To reset purge counter
1) Enter machine maintenance mode:
FAX models with numerical keypads: Press the Menu/Set, *, 2, 8, 6 and 4 keys within two seconds. (if you fail to complete the correct key sequence within two seconds, press the Stop key to try again).
Other (non-FAX) models: Press the Menu/Set and Black Start keys. Next press the “up arrow” key four times to enter the maintenance mode).
**Be sure not to change anything accidentally, as critical operations can be changed in this mode**
2) Press the 8 then 0 keys in the initial stage of the maintenance mode to call up the machine’s log information list (function code 80).
Other things you can try is to power off the machine and unplug it for 10 minutes. Make sure nothing is jammed.
Hope this helps!

My he2 kenmore washer is not starting when i push the button-it stops and starts flashing the error code f-01-what can I do to fix the problem?

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

The fax wont work and the copy wont work

Hello,

I would first check to see if there is anything that is stuck in the top feeder (ADF) area. If that is all clear I would unplug the machine and leave off for about 10 minutes and then plug back in. If that does not work. there could be a problem with one of the electrical components in the machine.
