SOURCE: Threading my sewing machine

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} all machines thread the same. TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

SOURCE: I also need a New Home (Janome) HF 3000 sewing

I would call Janome directly, 1-800-631-0183 and order one from them. They are open from 8:30 am To 5 PM,( Mon-Fri) I would also tell them that they should make their manuals available for download (and free) like Singer and Brother. Companies who make it impossible to for the customer to get a copy of their manuals drive me crazy. Not everyone sews between the times that they are open, to answer questions. I would complain to them, if nothing else, it may make them more sensitive to their customers. After all, they are not the only ones selling machines, and there is a real renaissance going on with sewing. They should appreciate every customer they have, especially with this economy.

Why is the bobbin side of stitching is all loopy

loops on the bottom means top thread isn't getting tension. Re-thread top thread with presser foot UP. Then test your seam again. If you still have loops, tighten the UPPER tension.

Thread jamming in bobbin mechanism, breaking upper thread and jamming bobbin.

Upper thread breaks
needle may be in backwards
Raise the needle bar to the highest point, then loosen the clamp screw to remove the old needle, place the new needle in the clamp with the flat side to the back of the machine
Push the needle all the way up to the stop or as far as it will go, then tighten the needle clamp screw
upper tension may be to tight
the needle may be bent or damaged
thread may be hanging up in bobbin case--check area for loose threads or lint

Every time I try to sew my bobbin is knotting up. What can make this happen?

yes, & the thread may not be the right kind for the fabric, also the tension would have to be adjusted to meet the needs of the thread & fabric
