There is a usb adapter to receive the signals from the wireless keyboard and mouse! Now i find a mini wireless keyboard, it's so cute and portable, http://www.ipcaccessories.com/2-4ghz-rii-mini-wireless-keyboard-with-touchpad-laser-for-ps3.html

You just plug the usb adapter for the wireless keyboard and mouse into the computer and run the install disk. Wireless just means that the device sends signals to the recieving devices.

To make them both work together you need IntelliPoint for the mouse and IntelliType for the keyboard and system no newer than Windows 7. For explaining incompatibility issues see:

Dear Sir or Ma'am, I have the Logitech MX3200 wireless keyboard/mouse and I am using a Linksys dual band router, model number WRT600N. My problem is that the mouse appears to experience interruptions...

It may not be any other interference; simply the distance from the mouse to the receiver. Also, check the bottom of the mouse, to make sure that nothing is blocking the optical sensor (the red light).

I have a Dell wireless mouse that I never know when it's going to work and when it's not. It's not the batteries and it's not corrosion of the batteries. Also, I can never figure out how to enable it!

Have you read the instructions for set up. The instructions explain how to get the transmitter, keyboard and mouse syncronized and talking to each other. On the Logitech units there is a button under the mouse that initiates connection. Under the keyboard there should be a button as well. The transmitter also has a button.
