Pc-xc70 will not power up - JVC PC-XC70 Shelf System

Known issue. Likely to be the fuel line from the tank to the engine.

Battery location in 2004 Volvo XC70 is in the rear compartment under the storage area, next to the spare tire.

No problem...I know the unit is heavy...but take into RadioShack.They stock replacements that will work for a few bucks.....Cool?

Once you've loaded all 10 discs..press the "continue" button on your remote, then press the cd play button directly beneath it.hopefully you have the remote controller...if not...there are similar buttons on the unit itself.

If you have the remote..load all the discs you wish to play..press the cd play button...then if you wan't to play the discs in order press the "continue" button..then the cd play button...if you want to shuffle the discs...select the "random: button on you remote....I hope the was helpful.

The DVD system on these cars is powered by the same fuse that powers the 12V outlets (cigarette lighters). Its pretty common for a phone charger to blow this fuse. The owners manual should tell you where the fuse is located

Possible problem with the alternator not putting out enough voltage. I had the same problem with my 2002 XC70, putting in a new alternator fixed it. I used a local mechanic who I found on the car talk web-site. Low Cost Volvo parts can be purchased at FCP Groton.
