is the card lock slider on? look at the card, there is a tiny switch that says in tiny letters lock, is that moved to the lock position? the little slider is on the left side of the card with the SD Logo label
Do you mean that the lid doesn't open or that your operating system doesn't open? If it's the lid, then the latches attached to the slider are jammed up. You can force them back with a small flat-head screw driver or a butter knife, or some other thin object that you can slide in there. Be careful not to scratch your LCD with whatever it is that you choose to use to open the lid. Once you get it open, move the slider back and forth to see if the latch hooks are moving with it. If they are then there is something going on with your lid that is preventing them from moving back after it's be closed. Sometimes this is due to the lid being slightly bent so that it causes the latches to lock in tightly and then not move back to unlatch when moving the slider. If you were meaning that your operating system won't open then you may need your system reinstalled. MADHATTER COMPUTERS

Hi Aruna_Devana, When you say locked do you mean "write protected?" If you look on the left side of the card there may be a notch in the card and a slider. Move the slider forward to cover the notch and you should now be able to use the card. If the slider moves back to 'lock' when you insert it into your camera, put on a bit of sticky tape, just enough to hold it in place, being careful not to cover any contacts on the card. Hope this helps.
Check the sides of the drawer on the dishwasher and make sure that the sliders that the drawer rides on are not locked in place you will notice on the front of the slider near the door panel there are plastic clip like press in tabs that hold the drawer securely in the tracks try to put your hand up under the door and move the track if the track moves in the slider you will need to hold the door secuely with one hand while sliding the track to the most open position on the slider track. if the sliders are not locked in you will be able to pull the slider forward and the slider should clip into place.Repeat this for both sides and the door should operate like new once again.
In addition to the tab that contacts the bottom of the slider, there are 2 protusions on the adjustable wheel plate that move through holes in the housing, but only when the handle is tilted to begin vacuuming. The wheel plate has a spring that forces the tab against the slider. As the handle is moved to the upright position, the protusions move back through the holes, taking the tab away from the slider and the wheel plate locks in its highest position. Therefore, the position of the slider has no effect while the handle is upright and locked. Hope this helps.
