To fix the issue in windows vista.Follow the stepss
1.Plug the usb modem
2.goto control panel > windows update. Windows update will find the drivers automatically and will install it..
chek whther those driver supports vista?othwise try to find out vista drivers from site.....and even try manual connection through network connection...

I also searched the MS Update Catalog (a huge technical resource) just in case we could find something close that might work. No luck - the only Huawei items listed are drivers for Ralink wireless LAN cards.
Sorry for the bad news, but at least now you have a definite answer. It would seem that you may need to uprade to a new router.
