AEG oven switches itself off after 35 mins

Hi, Since the clocks went back on Sunday and we altered the time on the oven display every time I use the oven it turns off after about 35 mins.  If I leave the oven on it comes back on by itself. The oven light goes out the fan stops and the heat goes.  Is it the timer, the thermostat or what???  Before this it has been working well.  It is about 2 years old and in use every day. It is model no. B41014.
Hope you can help.
Regards Donnava.

Re: AEG oven switches itself off after 35 mins

Does it turn off after the oven has got upto temperature if it does it is probably that your thermostat has gone as this cuts off as a safety feature if your oven gets hotter than the thermo setting then it will shut off to protect from over heating or causing a fire hazzard with high temperature are you sure you havent changed the timer as well cus you can set a timer for your oven to switch on at certain time and to also switch off after a certain time if you still have the manuall have a look through the timer section if you do not have a manuall then check on your makers web site these should have a manuall online for you to check first i would check that the timer is not on if i can find you a manuall online i will post back hope this is some help.................

Hi I need the operating instructions for an aeg cooker pnc 944 185 047. ive set the time but I cant work out the timeing settings it keeps switching off after about 20 mins and turns its self back on...

hi you can get instructions fron . follow the instruction link and enter pnc no. however i think your problem is a controling stat for the cooling fan if the fan does not switch on the oven overheats the cabinet and switches off like you describe. its located in the wiring loom behind the control panel. the part is 899661927356-9 costs circa £26. hope this helps

AEG single oven - clock runs for 12 hrs , buzzes and goes back to 12 o'clock - if set timer and check time remaining, it buzzes and jumps to clock setting loosing time remaining. Buzzer sounds ''hoarse''.

you must setting the count down timer instead of time of day. to set time of day. press centre button 4 times lamp flashes in bottom righthand of display. use + and - to get correct time after 10 secs time will lock in. to check you have not set count down press centre button 3 times lamp flashes top right corner of display if not at 0000 use - button to get to 0000 leave 10 secs then should revert to time of day. also check you have not entered cooking time. press centre 1x this also should read 0000. hope this helps

My large main oven will not work on my AEG U7101- 4- M. The small second over/grill is working fine.

Is the clock set? The display must show the correct time and must not be set to automatic cooking.
If the light comes on and the fan is working then the clock is set. If there is no heat then the element behind the cover and surrounding the fan is probably open circuit. This can be accessed without needing to remove the oven from the carcass.
Good luck

Aeg oven

cant see controls on pic so this is guidance turn function dial to "oven" you may be able on this dial to select fan or convential oven. turn stat up to required temp. it is so easy that i just wonder if you haqve another problem. the usual is the clock set to "auto" in error. drag you handbook out and set the clock making sure you get in on manual. easiest way is to switch off at the wall and start from scratch. get back to me if this does'nt help
