The ignitor may be bad you can chek to see if there is 110volts when the dryer is allin by unplugging the wire to the ignitor and putting using a multimeter to chek for voltage at the wires. If there is power to the ignitor and the ignitor is not glowing up then the ignitor is probably bad replace the ignitor.

Here is a link to some disassembly pictures of a Maytag washer. The first few pictures show you how to get the face of the cabinet off to access the tumbler so you may be able to tighten it.
