Thank you. I have one of the original units. The magnet was not working so I ordered a new waste unit. All good now!

I tried to order a new waste unit from Miele. They no longer have them available for my CVA615 unit. Any ideas on where else to order a waste unit?

The waste unit is sensed by a small magnet attached to it (location depends on model) the magnet closes a reed switch on the main unit and closes the interlock so coffee can be made. If in fact the magnet is there - then the reed switch is probably faulty or may need to be adjusted to sense the waste unit.

Waste unit is not installed OR the
waste unit is not installed correctly
•Re-install the waste unit
•Check magnet on rear of waste unit
•Check brew unit present switch

I cannot get my Miele CVA470 waste container back in after I put the brew unit in. The slide that has the W piece is blocking the waste unit's entry.

It is because the brew unit is not in the "rest" position. Somebody plaid with it or there is a malfunction with the brew unit so it is not in the initial position. Post a picture of the brew unit in place (without the waste container) and I will make my best to help you.

DESPERATE..... Displays fault code F18 frequently.Have cleaned the filter 3 times now recently(in the last 3 days) and is very clean but stopped again.Just emptied ll washing out of it and spun it to

I would check that the drain pipe is also clear.
You can actually get a build up of old soap powder in the pipework.
This pipe would be on the rear of the machine (grey in colour) and would connect to your waste pipe (perhaps under a sink)
If you can pull the machine forward and check to see if this pipe is indeed blocked, or even restricted.

I found this answer that may help you.

How do I clean the pump on a front loader Whirlpool washing machine, when the filter is spotless. (Red Pump clean light is on) Machine doesn't drain properly leaving clothes soaked.

If you have a top front small panel, unscrew 3 or 4 screw then you can pop out the cover. The pump is right there, you can counter clockwise the filter out and clean the pump. Be aware to do it with the power off.
If you don't see the front small panel, you have to open the back cover at the back of the unit.

My washingmachine doesn't continue to the next phase of the program

Yes! it seems that the program controller unit is the suspect, but first you need to check with other set programs and see if the entire cycle goes through. If not this can be related to a processor gate failure to go into the next sequence.
Also check the water level sensor and the drain pump and push in all connectors to be fitting. MAke sure there is no moisture within or else you will need to use a dryer to clear off and check.

Canon iR 2016 copier problem E019

Product : imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300(i)/2220N(i)/3320N(i) Title : E019
Error :
E019-0000 is displayed on the control panel.

Workaround :
This error code is the indication of the waste toner container being full or a problem with the detection mechanism. Actions to be taken are:1. Turn the machine off and check the waste toner container. If the container is full, empty the container. Clean the inside and outside of the container's neck with alcohol. Be sure that the neck is clear and not soiled with toner before placing it back into the machine. Turn the machine on and check to see if the code went away.
2. If the container isempty and the code is still displayed, check the neck of the container. Turn the machine off and check the container,if the neck is dirty, clean the inside and outside with alcohol before placing it back into the machine. Turn the machine on and check to see if the code went away.
3. If the machine still displays the code after the bottle is emptied and the neck clean; check the sensor, the sensor connections to and from the DC controller PCB for continuity, and the proper positioning of the sensor. Replace the sensor if it is damaged or excessively soiled with toner.

WHAT IS THE SOLUTION ON ERROR MESSAGE PE IN MY FUZZY LOGIC WFT601

There is a round clean out door accessed from the front of your unit. Some models you have to take the lower panel off entirely to clean it out. It unscrews and probably there is anything and everything you can imagine clogging the pump inlet....thus the error message "PUMP ERROR" THe unit's error code may manually have to be deactivated in the control panel to reset the unit to normal operation.

Message: waste cartridge is full or not installed

There is a possibility that the Imaging Unit needs replaced.
Or is the sensor itself unseated from its normal operating position.

Error Message--Waste Toner Tank Full/Not Install

What I have started to do is to actually wash the toner tank out with water and make sure it is good and dry then be sure the section that breaks the light sensor is good and clean (it is on the left side as you look at the backside - the side that goes toward the printer - and protrudes out) the tank full indication comes on when the tank gets dirty
