Make sure the drivers front(left front) door is closed and you have your car keys. Insert your door key into the drivers door and turn it to the locked position two times. Then turn the key to the unlock position twice. The alarm should be disarmed, now.

SECOND TECHNIQUE: If not then take the ignition key and turn the ignition switch all the way ON then OFF then ON a second time and OFF again. These are the procedures for nearly all factory alarm systems. If neither of these works you probably have an after market(add-on) alarm system.

Warnings This technique is only for use on your own car that you own and have keys for. If you don't have the keys- disconnect the negative battery cable to stop the horn until you get your keys. Then reconnect the negative terminal and proceed to step one.

Hope this helps!

2000 Tundra security system will not reset has shut down everything and will not crank. Tried the key in the door, key in ignition, searched for a valet button or toggle, nothing. No valet button

this year model did not come from the factory with a security system but many were installed at the dealer, is there a button under the steering column? if so i recommend you delete the alarm, if you ever have issues with the battery this will happen again. follow the wiring from the red light to the alarm control module and unplug the main clear connetor from the unit, also at the ignition switch you would have to unplug the ignition switch connector from the wire lead that goes to the alarm and reconnect the trucks factory connector to the igniton switch to take the ignition out of the alarm circuit

06 tundra won't start sometimes think it has something to do with alarm

If it is the alarm, the light would stay lit up. Best to have a full scan, check history codes also. Many parts to the security.

My 2002 toyota tundra alarm is going off and i cant turn on my truck

the IMMO light on,,,, the IMMOBILIZER, ever read the operators guide

Can not start car, that is because the security system is in ALARM
and that tells the IMMO not to allow starting, all by design.

the alarm system must be diagnosed,
the manual will show how the alarm is detecting a breach.
all cars, have tests to see what is in alarm.
look here.

Just replaced battery on 2005 tundra, how do I reset the vehicle alarm. The alarm now sounds whenever I open the doors.

Anytime the alarm sounds when opening the door with the key, get into the truck anyway, place the key into the ignition key switch and turn it on and off 2 times. The horn will stop blowing and the lights will stop flashing. You're ready to go.......
