If one side works the flasher unit is ok it could be bulbs, a bad connection or a fault with the indicator switch

yes, have an idea! when the turn signal works on one side or other really fast, you have a blown front or back blown turn signal light bulb.remove the back first,it's usually the one that blows fisrst, but not always! you may have to look or inspect the rear bulb. it will have a blown element in the bulb itself.look at the bulb for a very small wire inside of the bulb,if the metal ring inside the bulbs broken into.it will not work. unfortunatlly, you will have to remove one at a time. i would start at the rear, unless, you've hit something,or been stuck in snow from the front side. if you have been stuck in snow,i would go to the end that's been stuck and start there.other wise just start at the rear and check for a blown signal light bulb.it will be in the yellow portion of the turn light. the bulb that lights up the yellow portion of your tail light turn signal.if it's in the rear, you will need to access the bulb from inside the rear hatch assembly. if in front, you will need to remove the turn signal light. hope i've helped you! thank you for choosing fixya.com

Had replaced turn singals bubls on my 2004 chevy venture van still wont. Work whats the problem PLEASE Thank YOU so much

The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in RUN or BULB TEST position. The T/SIG fuse supplies ignition voltage to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, the turn signal switch sends an ignition voltage to the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher, which sends an on-off signal to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch receives the on-off signal it will send that signal to the following lamps on the LH or RH side:
• The Rear Turn Lamp
• The Turn Signal Indicator
• The Sidemarker Lamp
• The Sideview Mirror (Pontiac Thunder only)
The turn signal switch also sends a separate on-off signal to the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control module, which relays the signal to the appropriate front turn signal. The front turn signals are grounded at G101 and G102. The rear turn signals are grounded at G401. The sidemarker lamps are grounded through the corresponding front parklamp.
The sideview mirror turn signals are a bank of LEDs placed behind the mirror glass.
The hazard lamps operate on battery voltage. The HAZARD fuse supplies battery voltage to the turn signal switch. When the hazard switch is pressed, the turn signal switch sends battery voltage to the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher, which sends an on-off signal to the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch send the on-off signal to all the turn signal lamps, causing all the lamps to flash including both IPC turn signal indicators. The hazard lamp/turn signal flasher is grounded at G200.
When the parklamps are ON, the sidemarker lamps receive voltage from the park lamp supply voltage circuit and illuminate. The sidemarker lamp is grounded through the corresponding rear turn signal. When the turn signal switch is place in the left or right hand position, the rear turn signal illuminates and the sidemarker lamp will loose its ground, causing the sidemarker lamp to turn off when the turn signals are on and to illuminate again when the turn signal is off.

Because they are on two different relays. Check front and rear bulbs, if ok replace the turn signal flasher relay.

Rear and front signal lights are not working but my hazzard lights do work its not the fusees they are all good?

  • Your hazards and turn signals are on a separate fuses and different relays. Check both fuses and both relays. Relays should be under the hood. The schematic will be on the underside of the lid. Relays look like a little black box with 3 prongs for the terminals. They just pull right out.

I have a 1991 mazda 323 and the right front and rear blinker does not work however the leaft blinker does

When you turn on the right blinker does the indicator light come on? It could be a faulty turn signal switch. The turn signals are routed through the hazzard switch, sometimes you can switch on and off the hazzard switch several times and the turn signals could start working again...Hey it's worth a try..
