Question about Saeco Caffe Charisma Espresso Machine
It leaks from the frother as it brews each cup. I keep a empty cup under it but am afraid it is only going to get worse. I am mechanically inclined and will repair myself. Looking for some ideas as to where the problem lies. I figure it is probably a o-ring or some sort of seal. Any help would be appreciated.
Mi=ore than likely you have something under the needle seat that is holding the needle open. Usually it is scale. Try doing a descale manually. Mix the solution and put it in the water tank. Turn machine on and then immediately open the water knob. Run about 8 oz. and turn machine off. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Then repeat an 8 oz. run and turn off. Again let stand. Do this until the tank is gone. Then rinse, and test. If that does not do it, you will have to remove the top and remove the cover on the manifold that holds the needle and clean manually.
