Question about Panasonic sa-ht930 Home Theater Audio System SA-HT930 System
When I put a disc in to play, it starts reading it but the player restarts. (sometimes immediately, sometimes a few seconds later) The radio and tv function works properly. It's a Panasonic SA-HT335.

Ho2?I guess the unit is so thirsty,it forgot the right questions H20!!??Just kidding!
Always back to basic, put a CD music disc in first and see the it works? If not, don't bother to check your DVD,should return it or find an A/V repair guy to fix it!

Thanks for your help, but I couldn't wait any longer and took care of the problem. This is what I did to fix it: With the dvd player unplugged, I removed all the screws and opened up the dvd player to make sure that there was no dvd stuck inside. Once I confirmed that there were no obstructions, I then proceeded to plug in the dvd player so I can see how the player reacted to the error messages. I noticed that every time I pressed the eject button, the section where the sensor reads the disc was slightly moving but not fully reacting. So right above the laser sensor apparatus, there's a white plastic circular piece and I moved that around a few times and it did the trick. Problem solve, the dvd player is working like a champ. Hope this helps if someone out there that has the same problem.

I took mine to Radio Shake and they replaced the mechanism for the reader. It was a total of 150.00 but it was worth it. I have to give it to them and they had to send it out to see what was wrong with it. I have used it two years later and it still works good. On occasion when I play about three to five dvds it will stop. After I let it cool down it starts working again. I am selling mine after 8 years of having it because my girl friend bought me a blue-ray theater system for christmas. Other then that it is a great product. if you need anything else let me know. firstname.lastname@example.org
