Question about Canon DC220 DVD Camcorder
In order to finalize the disk you must have it plugged in. So no one does it on accident. After it is finalized you will be able to open it up on the computer or on most DVD players. I had the same problem at first, I have the same camera, I love it now...

How do I get Finalize on the screen all I get is Initialize ?

I've recorded movies on my dc220 and then when I try to view them or finalize them or try to continue recording they always come up will "Cannot read the disc" Check the Disc. But, I am able to view them on my DVD player. (Not the camera or computer) what's up with this. I have went and re-read the book and went step by step and read all your troubleshooting listings.
