my freezer freezes but ice isnt making and im afraid to tuoch the pipes and stuff in the bak . .(i dont wanna get wet) lol anyways i need help . . y isnt my ice maker working and how can i solve this?

this may sound stupid but is the ice maker turned on? Does it say "ice" in the display? If it does, check to see if the ice level arm is jammed into the upper position also make sure that the ice bin is in place (it actuates the ice maker switch) make sure there is no ice stuck to the top of the ice maker
