Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Problems with xovision mp3 player x120aud4gb. My mp3 was working fine and last week it stopped playing altogether and when i turn it on it says ''Fatal error inter media''. So I tried to reformat the mp3 & re install the software. Now the mp3 face show the connection between it and my computer and it says ready. But my computer cannot open the file, nor can i drag music to the file. Whenever I try to open the usb drive where I have the mp3 connected my computer says ''not responding'' or ''format error''. Should I throw this thing away? or can it be fixed? I also emailed xovision tech support 2 weeks ago. They have not answered me.

My ipod will not play after I paused it. It was playing fine before I paused. It was recharged completely before that.

Won't turn on

Remove battery for at least one minute, then reinstall battery and try again, if mp3 player still won't play replace battery. If the unit still doesn't work then it must be sent to manufacture for repair if still under warranty. If out of warranty it may be cheaper to purchase a new unit.

My ipod middle button doesnt work what can i do help

This usually happens if the membrane of the action button deteriorates and the gold plated contacts between membrane and logic board do no longer establish good contact.
There are specialized online tutorials with iPod Repair instructions that will guide you through the steps of taking it apart and cleaning the contact or replacing the button altogether otherwise you'll have to send it to any third party iPod repair service and they'll replace the membrane for you.

  1. Go out and sell it on ebay. Say only one problem with it. And under description say special software needed to use correctly. make sure it is at a low price and yoou put correctly, cuz half th people on ebay dont use the things correctly.

for notforreal, did you firmware upgrade? if you did, here the link to fix the problem,

For X120AUD2GB http://www.xovision.com/downloads/X120AUD2GB%20UPGRADE%20SOFTWARE.zip

For X120AUD4GB

For songs that got deleted, or just simply disappear

is the file system of your player FAT32? if yes just format it in FAT. this will solved the problem of losing music.

1) Plug your Player to usb port of your computer
2) Wait until it is recognizes as flash drive
3) Go to My Computer, look for the removable disk
4)Right click, then click format, window will pop up, on file format, choose FAT
5) click start, wait until finish formatting.
6) then you can now start using your player.

that happened to me, and changing the battery solved the problem... until the player died altogether about one month later. I haven't yet found a solution to THAT particular issue...
