Question about Goldstar WG5200ER Air Conditioner
Is the air condirioner suppost to lean backwards out the window? and the window frame is the only support? Thank you
If this is a window type aircon, yes, but not to much. This is to drain water accumulation on its basin, where its sink is located. Fan could **** the water and sprayed it to the electrical system. That could damaged itself. And also it is designed that way so that drain water doesn't go inside.
Its support should be rigid enough to support the unit, usually it start from its face plate and extended to its rear end, and then a bracket to reinforce support at the rear end.
