If this is a window type aircon, yes, but not to much. This is to drain water accumulation on its basin, where its sink is located. Fan could **** the water and sprayed it to the electrical system. That could damaged itself. And also it is designed that way so that drain water doesn't go inside.

Its support should be rigid enough to support the unit, usually it start from its face plate and extended to its rear end, and then a bracket to reinforce support at the rear end.

And usually they enclosed it in a cage to be sure it will not fall off.

Hello, first make sure the unit is tilted back in the window about a 1/4 inch. Also, check the drain on unit, sometimes they can clog and prevent condensate from draining.

The 1973 sportster I have leans too far on the kickstand, I changed it and it still leans, it seems the kickstand is too far forward of the bike, any answers, thanks

There is always the possibility that it's the wrong kickstand on a bike that is that old. No telling who may have changed it in past. Also, I've seen a lot of the frames cracked where the kick stand bolts onto the boss on the frame. Get a mirror and examine the frame tube closely underneath and on the backside for cracks. Sometimes the cracks are difficult to see due to the engine fitting down between the two frame tubes. But, if it's leaning that much and it is due to the frame being damaged, it should be pretty evident.

Good Luck

Water is leaking out of the bottem when its on cooling mode. does not do that when just the fan is on. help!!

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. Be sure the air conditioner is level and lean it slightly back toward the outside of the house so the water will run out the back and not toward the front.

Check to see if air conditioner clutch pump is engaging on engine. If it is you are probably low on freon.

How do you get the ac to stop leaking water inside the window?

The a/c could be slightly leaning toward the inside letting the water drip in or the drain hole which allows the water to drip outside could be stopped up. Find the hole and blow through it with compressed air to unstop it.

Air conditioner sweats profusely into the room

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. If the condensation is running in instead of outside then the window unit is probably leveled the wrong way try and lean the unit toward the outside to get the water to run backwards toward the outside so the water can run back.

Having my air ac 6000btu gold star driping on inside floorwhat is it

the AC unit is not level. the ac should sit level front to back... if it is leaning into the room even at the tinyest pitch, the water will run into the room. the ac should NOT be tilted backwards either, they need to sit level. take it out, and put it back in...

I have a Maytag window air conditioner that is leaking out front

The unit has to lean backward to let the water run out. It sounds like it is too level or leaning forward too much. There should be an adjusting screw in back that you can lower and it should work fine.

Goldstar Manual 6000 BTU What angle if any is needed mountin.

You don't need alot of angle, but you could try leaning it back further and see if water runs out. If no water, make sure that if there is a drain hole, it is not clogged. Humidity also plays a big part in how much moisture it actually produces. Hope this helps!!!
