Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

    The inlet water valve inside the dishwasher cannot be repair. you will need to replace the valve in this case. its a solenoid based assembly. once the assembly is damaged, it will no longer open and close itself.

    It is possible to test this device with an ohm meter but, if you are not getting any water and, the shut off valve is open, this will confirm inlet valve failure.

Bosch Integra SHU 9955US/12 - when we start wash cycle, the detergent dispenses and the tub fills with water, but the wash cycle never starts (never spins spray bars). Seems like timer is counting down,...

Sounds like your motor is burned out. The drain motor and wash motor are seperate on your machine. You can check for power going to the motor, but to do this you might have to pull the dishwasher out. While the cycle is running check for 120 VAC going into the motor. If you are getting power and nothing is happening, you will need to replace the motor, otherwise you will need to replace the motor control board located at the base of the machine.

Bosch SHU 8805 upper arm is getting no water.

replace the upper water arm conduit and wash arm hub as they leak under years of pressure and the o-rings leak water and then it can't hold pressure and supply the upper arm with full pressure water,also replace the center arm conduit if it has one as this will wear out too

Machine doesnt fill

inlet valve is underneath ..behind the "kick plate" ,,,you need to remove the kick plate to access it ...just look for the water line it conects to the valve ....it would be rare that this is cloged ...it may need replace ment ....make sure the actual water is turned on from your main hot supply ....some times people turn them off and forget to turn them back on ,,,,it's located under your sink

Bosch SHU 43C02 UC14 Dishwasher

if you have no leaks, leave the machine alone.if you have, thats a different story.you possibly have a flow switch. close your tap slightly so as to reduce water pressure. Less water will be used.{flow switch detects amount of water filled in a determined time}

Mine did that. I tried changing the timer but it didn't help. I noticed that the water level kept rising until the drain pump would be triggered by the overfill protection switch on the left side under the insulation. It turned out that the fill valve didn't close all the way and so the pan would never empty. A new fill valve (easy to install and cheap) fixed it!

Bosh dish waher

Does it make the same noise when it's just filling or just when the motor starts? Usually just filling the dishwasher opens a valve and doesn't run the pump. If it makes noise during filling the valve may be getting hot and shorting, or may have a loose connection, or air may be in the water supply line causing the valve to bounce. If it takes a long time to fill the filter may be clogged.
