Question about Philips 32PW6506 32" TV
Pleas please can anyone help me i have a hitachi natura tv and when i got it it was fine for a couple of days then the picture go lines on it then went black i unplugged it and left it for a few days then when i plugged it back in it was ok for a few hours then the picture went fuzzy then went off now it only comes on for a couple of minutes then it goes off can anybody tell me what is wrong with it and is it worth getting repaired and if so can i repair it myself i have a good knowloge of electronics and could replace any parts myself but i need to know what part as i have no teasting equipment if i need testing equipment what do i buy how much and how do i test the parts i need to please please help me as i am stuck thanks in advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my suggestion. You are having a problem with one or more solder connections on the main board. What is happening is when they warm up the solder separates from the connection...in other words not enough solder. If you can find the spot- solder it (them) and you are home free. If that's not it, then it may be one of the IC componets is bad.--Hope this helps-Marilyn (used to own electronics store that did repairs :-)
