Question about Bose Wave Radio
Is there any internal fuse that can be checked / repaired. My son spilt a little water in the top where the cd compartment is and the system is dead. no display. no sound. Is there an internal fuse anywhere that can be replaced? I called bose and they want it sent in for $129 or $199 upgrade to newer system. I of course prefer not to have to pay that kind of money.
Bose radios do not have an integrated fuse link. the water has shorted the main board. the best action here is to, replace the entire unit. this can only be done by sending it in to bose. i understand that this is not the option you wanted but, all replacement boards and internal components are not available for consumer purchase.
This repair or, exchange can only be initiated and completed by the manufacture(bose).
