Hi, I had bought this printer 4 years ago but never used it. I tried starting it today. I loaded the cartridges and when I hit the start button, the cartridges move for a short time and soon after I see a message "E-90" Call for service. Could you please help ?

3. Windows:Right-click the printer icon on you taskbar (in the lower right corner of
your screen). Select Print Head Alignment. Macintosh OS X: Open the Applications folder and select Epson Printer Utility.
Select your Expson Stylus CX7800 in the printer list, click OK,
and select Print Head Alignment.
You might have to pull out your cartridge/s and try dabbing the spot where the ink comes out (on the printer - not on the cartridge) lightly - with a Q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. How long ago was it since you last used your printer? These types of printers don't like to sit for more than a week or two without you printing at least one page on them.
Go to the CX7800 Epson Support website: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=58773&infoType=Overview
Under "Drivers" Click on the link for your Operating System. Next click on the Driver for your OS and click "download now". You must click on the "Accept" button when asked if you agree to Epson software licence agreement. A box will appear and ask if you want to save or run, click on "Save" and choose a folder to put it in. Your download should now begin. Once it is downloaded, go to your folder and double click the file to open it, when the box appears again this time choose "Run". Click on OK or continue whenever you are asked and when the "printer Utilities Setup" appears turn on the printer and ensure it is connected. If asked set the printer as "default" and print a test page, Setup will now complete and your printer will be ready for use.
