Is it a diesel tractor? if it is depending on the age you may have to bleed the injecters. before you do this look at the injecters and determine if there is 1 or 2 lines going to it. if there is oly 1 line then you have to bleed them manually. this is done by loosening the line nut on top of the injecter. it is best to have a freind help you. loosen half the injecters skipping every other one. make sure that you can tighten them back with only a half a turn or so. have you pal crank the motor over while you watch the injecters. air should start bubbling out of the top of the injecter. when the air stops and just fuel comes out tighten the injecters. this will ussually let the engine start. then with the motor running crack the lines one at a time to get rid of the air on the remaining injecters. this step may have to be repeated several times to get th motor to run right.be aware that the pressure on the fuel coming out is at high pressure and can hurt you or catch on fire so I dont advise smoking while doing this. if the injecters have 2 lines it is self bleeding and you should have a primer pump. locate and pump until you have good resistance. turn over motor no start then repeat.
