That receiver has A and B channels. Look for the Speaker button and press it until B appears on the diplay. The other room speakers will play the same thing as in the main room.

Hi there,
The most likely reason is that the audio settings on the receiver are set for digital audio and the connection for the iPod is analog. However, It's very difficult to determine anything without knowing how it is all setup. Please can you answer the following questions so that I know where to start looking.
1. How is the iPod dock connected to the receiver?
2. Is the Blu-ray player connected through the receiver to the TV (with HDMI?) or is the Blu-ray connected directly to the TV for video?
3. Is the audio for the Blu-ray sent direct to the receiver or via the TV?
4. Are "DIRECT" or "STRAIGHT" switched on?
5. When you select the input for the iPod on the receiver, what icons/words are illuminated on the receiver display?
Ideally, any information you can give me on how all of your devices are inter-connected would assist me greatly in solving your problem. I'm sure it's just a setup/settings issue rather than a fault with any of the devices.
Sorry for all of the questions, but it's very difficult to know what the problem might be without knowing how it's setup. Please reply to me with the details by clicking on "Add a Comment" below your question and I will get back to you without delay.
Regards,
BElectric
