Trying to run setup wizard on my WRT54G-TM,so i can block other people from borrowing my internet.I have one desk top hooked up and two laptops, works great ,but when i run the wizard disk it tells me...

To test your Internet connection, connect a LAN cable from your computer to the DSL or cable modem and if you can browser the Internet then your Internet connection is OK, then the problem is the LAN cnnection to the Linksys or the Linksys may not configured correctly.

Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer'sLAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link'sconfiguration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop withthe router's wireless settings.
To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

Error message: wireless network cnnection doesnt have a valid ip configuration & it identifies my network as an unidentified public network what is my problem?

You need to configure it, find the manual on the internet somewhere, download it and then connect to it via a wire and it's IP address. For instance most you plug in you laptop and put 192.168.1.0 or something like that in IE for the address. It will want a user id and password, the defaults are in the manual, if it's been changed you can reset it to defaults also, it's in the manual.
