    THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE.

DO YOU STILL THINK IT IS THE MEMORY BATTERY? ROUGHLY ABOUT HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK IT'S GOING TO COST ME TO REPLACE THE MEMORY BATTERY?

Sounds to me that the phone set is shorted when you pick up the reciever it shorts the line but if the phone is already shorted this is why people are getting the busy signal

Hi,

What voicemail do you all have? When you log into the voicemail (intercom 777) it says, welcome to.........

Partner Messaging?
Partner voicemessaging?
Partner Mail vs

If you are using Partner voicemail, you would just press *7 when you hear the voicemail system.

If you press *7, and do not get prompted for the extension number, you dont have a Partner voicemail
This can be very complicated! You may need to get a local installation company to come in and help you out. It sounds like the memory battery in your system is bad and needs to be replaced or this will just keep happening to you.

Your phone can be used on one of several different Avaya phone systems and you can have different voice mail systems also. You need to figure out which phone system and voice mail you have. All the manuals are available at www.avaya.com but if you have never dealt with programming this system before it will be a big task to learn it.

http://www.ez-manuals.com/products.asp?cat=27 This is for a manual for the system. the phone will not operate with out the main system

Thanks for contacting Fixya

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Ayaya Lucent Partner 18D Cordless call waiting.

The cordless will not work that way. If you hit flash, that will put calls on hold, etc....

The only thing you can do is have the flash button on the 18D itself.

LUCENT PHONE 18D PARTNER/CAN'T GET VM MSSSAGES

Has someone changed the password by accident?

To figure this out for sure, we need to know the model of the voicemail.

When you dial into the voicemail to check messages, the recording voice comes on and says "Welcome to Partner......."

Fill in the blanks.
