I need a manual for my gigabyte ga-t671mg motherboard so that i can connect the on /off switch

There isn't a manual available for it, as it is an OEM motherboard in pre-built PCs BUT I've the same motherboard in a Packard Bell iMedia J2422 (now in a BitFenix Colossus case!). You connect the power to the bottom left, reset top left, h.d.d led top right, power led bottom right into the Front Headers (F_Panel) - which is located on the bottom right hand-side of the motherboard. My board has writing underneath the header telling you what connects where, maybe yours does too? Hope I've helped.

Packard Bell IMedia 5055: GA-8SIML will not post or boot. Removed all PCI cards,RAM,Hard drive, optical drives etc. Only CPU and mobo but no post/BIOS screen. CPU fan runs and front panel LEDs work. Do get...

Put just the ram back into the motherboard, the pc will not boot without processor, ram and graphics pluged into the board, check this, if it will still not boot and you still get 3 beeps its a memory(ram) problem, and you will need to replace the memory stick.

Mobo won't accept P4 CPU.

Hi,
There are FSB settings as well as voltage settings in your bios. Go to intel website to get correct voltage and FSB for the processor you wish to choose.

You can cause SERIOUS damage to your computer if these settings are not just right.

(If you do decide to flash bios, be very careful. Make sure you download the right version or your pc will be useless).

Good luck,
Hank

Ga 8simlnf ram upgrade

There is no motherboard with this model number. Can you recheck this by looking on the board itself. Its right in the middle of the board.

In general though, you can usually put 4GBs of Ram in the G8 series but only Vista and later Linux versions will actually report above 3GBs.

Please reply using the comment box below. Thanks.
